The ŠKODA Superb SportLine turns even the shortest of drives into an hi-performance yet luxurious thrill. With its finely-tuned turbocharged engine generating 206kW of power, flat-bottomed sports steering wheel and a performance monitor that broadcasts your results on the central touchscreen in crystal-clear clarity, the SportLine offers a Superb driving experience.

The ŠKODA Superb SportLine’s impressive 206 kW power and 350 Nm torque numbers only tell part of the story. It’s when you hear the distinctive sound of air rushing through the turbocharger’s spinning turbine and feel your whole body being pushed back into its sports seats as you race off the line, that you truly understand that you are behind the wheel of a high-performance, luxury sports car.

SUPERB SPORTY DESIGN

Centuries of Bohemian artistry overlaid with modern day aerodynamics has inspired the ŠKODA Superb SportLine’s athletic exterior design. Harmonious proportions, clean-cut lines, bold contours and crystalline features that draw on the history of Czech crystal-glass art, all combine to create a design language that places a focus on precision and clarity.

SUPERB INFOTAINMENT

With an Infotainment system that features intuitive Smartphone connection, ‘COLUMBUS’ Navigation, voice control, a ‘CANTON SOUND SYSTEM’ with 10 loudspeakers, subwoofer and digital equalizer, plus a Performance Monitor that displays current oil temperature, g-force acceleration, coolant temperature. It’s no wonder we had to make the ŠKODA Superb SportLine’s crystal-clear colour touchscreen 9-inches.

PARALLEL PARKING

The Superb can go up to 40 km/h when looking for a suitable parking space with Park Assist on. Once the sensors find a space large enough (i.e. length of the car + 80 cm), the system lends a hand with the parking manoeuvres (optional add-on)

DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE

Exiting a tight space is now easier, too. In this mode, the Park Assist manoeuvres the SUPERB back and forth until it can exit a row of parked cars.

PERPENDICULAR PARKING BACKWARDS

The system finds a proper parking space between cars and performs the parking manoeuvre almost automatically. The car’s electronics control the steering wheel while the driver uses the accelerator and brake pedal.

PERPENDICULAR PARKING FORWARDS

The Park Assist semi-automatically guides the car forwards into transversal parking spaces. The system assists the driver by automatically carrying out optimal steering wheel movements to park within the lines, the driver just has to accelerate and brake.

REAR-VIEW CAMERA WITH WASHER

When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. Dynamic guide lines laid over the image show the direction in which the vehicle would go with the position of the steering wheel or indicate when it should be turned.

REAR TRAFFIC ALERT

When reversing out of parking bays, Rear Traffic Alert recognises vehicles approaching from the sides. An acoustic signal warns of an impending collision. The “critical side” is shown first in yellow and then in red on the infotainment display. The brakes are applied automatically if necessary.

PARKING SENSORS AND MANOEUVRE ASSIST

The parking sensors assist the driver with parking and work in conjunction with all of the infotainment systems. To avoid those parking situations where you don’t brake in time in response to the distance alerts, the SUPERB incorporates Manoeuvre Assist, a feature that stops the car to avoid collision.

BI-XENON HEADLIGHTS WITH AFS

The bi-xenon headlights are fitted with the Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS) and LED daytime running lights. The AFS optimises the illumination of the road and surroundings in line with the driving and weather conditions and adapt to different traffic situations.

REAR LED LIGHTS

This is the first time that the ŠKODA SUPERB’s two-part tail lights have gleamed with LED technology as standard. The lights are narrow, with one element of the tail lights located in the body and another in the tailgate.

FRONT ASSIST

The Front Assist is a collision-alert safety system. Faced with an unavoidable collision, it applies the brakes to minimise the consequences. Front Assist works with a radar sensor integrated into the radiator grille, constantly monitoring the distance from the traffic ahead.

BLIND SPOT DETECT

Blind Spot Detect helps the driver to change lanes safely by registering any vehicles in the blind spot. Two radar sensors located in the lower part of the rear bumper monitor the area beside and up to 20 metres behind the ŠKODA Superb.

DRIVER ALERT (FATIGUE DETECTION)

Driver Alert reduces the risk of a fatigue-induced emergency. By monitoring driver behaviour, the system assesses the degree of driver fatigue and, if necessary, warns of the need for a rest and break in the journey.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead at a selected speed, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The system combines the cruise control system with a radar-based distance controller. (Optional add-on)
